Media Monday (5) What About Bob?

This hilarious 1991 movie stars Richard Dreyfuss, who plays psychiatrist Dr. Leo Marvin, and Bill Murray, the multiphobic patient Bob Wiley.

Bob is referred to Dr. Marvin by another psychiatrist who has been driven over the edge by attempting to treat Bob.

After their first session, where Dr. Marvin gives Bob a copy of his new book “Baby Steps” (which of course he bills Bob), Leo tells Bob he is going on vacation with his family. This panics Bob, who tries everything to find out where the Dr. is vacationing.

I don’t want to give away what happens because the entire movie is great fun, lots of laughs and very entertaining.
It’s in my top 10 funniest movies list; I highly recommend it!
