Monthly Organizer

Have a hard time keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions? Forget to pay bills on time?
Here is an inexpensive alternative to expensive organizers.

You will need:

  • 3-Ring Binder – 1 ($1 during back to school sales)
  • 2-Pocket Folder – 6 or 7* (these are .10 during sales)
  • Hole Punch
  • Marker
  • Calendar for birthdays, anniversaries, etc or bill pay dates
  • List of card recipients for holidays
  1. Turn the folders inside out, so that pockets are on outside (front/back together).
  2. Hole punch the folders to fit the 3-ring binder.
  3. With the marker, label each pocket with each of the 12 months.
  4. Hole punch calendar and recipient list
*or use 7th folder to hold these in addition to your address labels, stamps and extra cards such as ‘Get Well’ etc.
  5. Put everything into the ring binder.
  6. Fill each pocket with the cards (or payments) for that month.
  7. Weekly, or monthly, check the calendar and prepare the cards (or bill payments) for mailing.

I hope you find this tip useful! 🙂
