Banana French Toast

This recipe is a touch more time-consuming than plain french toast, but is worth it. It’s also healthful (if you don’t pile a bunch of bad things on top!), with: protein, maganese, iron, calcium, potassium, and fiber.You will need:
Non-stick Skillet

  • Bananas – 2
  • Eggs – 4
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg – 1 pinch
  • Whole Wheat Bread – 8 slices
  • Butter or non-stick spray for oiling skillet

Place all ingredients in blender except bread and blend well.
Transfer mixture to a shallow bowl; soak 1 bread slice at a time in mixture.
Coat skillet with butter or non-stick spray and heat on medium-high (6).
Cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden-brown.
Serve with syrup, top with fruit or cut it into sticks to eat plain while on the go.
