Apple Pie Filling

You will need:

  • Cooking Apples, peeled and sliced – 5 1/2 cups
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Tbls.
  • Sugar – 1/3 cup
  • Light Brown Sugar, firmly packed – 1/4 cup
  • All Purpose Flour – 3 Tbls.
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp.
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 tsp.
  • Nutmeg – 1/2 tsp.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Replaces canned pie fillings in recipes.
